just listed a bow and the pkg. size will be 66" X 10" X 7" at 7 LBS. which is well under the 108" length + girth max. size threshold to ship USPS priority Mail from U.S. to Canada, but for some reason the ebay bots are red flagging me and not allowing me to ship to Canada as an option saying package size is too large..did the USPS change size limits of USPS Priority Mail from U.S. to Canada and has just not updated their page? I am well aware some countries have had 79" length + girth limits bu Canada was not one of those countries..

The shipping calculator at usps.com will give a price for shipping that package to Canada, so the problem is apparently with ebay.

Get an account with a "real" postage provider.......
You will NEVER have another of the many issues that printing postage through eBay entail.
There is even a FREE Stamps account available for eBay sellers although Stamps make it very difficult to find the right sign up page.
If you are wondering, orders will download from eBay and tracking info will be posted back, scan forms if you need them are easy and you can do multiple eBay accounts all in the same place at the same time.

it would be nice to get a, as you call it, REAL shipper, but living in the middle of nowhere has it's drawbacks when it comes to the economic feasibility of using a REAL shipper (whatever that is?) LOL

I think he meant a postage seller. Not an actual shipper. Like stamps.com
instead of buying labels from eBay which is often problematic, you can buy postage elsewhere with less problems 🙂

A "real" postage provider just means a different way to purchase USPS postage, such as endicia or stamps.com. Their business is to know how USPS shipping works. For eBay, managing postage purchases is just an afterthought that's handed to new programmers or possibly to the computer classes at San Jose Middle School

eBay doesn't have anything to do with their postage system, it's all run by Pitney-Bowes who are the largest company on the field, far bigger than Stamp, Endicia or any of the others, they have been in the postage business for well over 100 years.
That said all that experience, all those highly paid programmers and other things still doesn't mean they are not without problems. For most people in the small package shipping business Pitney-Bowes is generally accepted as the worst of the worst.
We can only hope that in light of eBay dumping PayPal they will next move on to dumping Pitney-Bowes as they have done in Canada.
For those that say they have not had problems, you are lucky, if you have followed the boards for as long as I have you would know there are a small number of issues that constantly come up.....

Pitney-Bowes are the company that took over 5 years to add regional rate boxes and have similar inabilities frequently over the years.
If you are wondering, yes I have a personal gripe against Pitney-Bowes from years ago when they supplied me with a postage meter.

eBay has NOT dumped PB (yet).
You would know it if they did, I'm not exactly sure when the deal expires, it was last renewed in 2011, they are usually 5 year deals but it may have been a 10 year deal. It's also possible that the deal was with PayPal and went with PayPal when the companies split in 2015 and perhaps is tied up in the same 5 year post split deal as is in effect for payment processing.
The GSP is also run by Pitney-Bowes, although there are a number of other companies that provide a similar service, I do not know of any who are also in the postage business so eBay would have to find somebody new to operate that program as well as for postage. One thing is for sure, they could easily find companies that would do a better job.

That's true of course, but eBay is responsible for the interface, which eBay alone managed to mess up when the rates changed on January 21. Everybody else managed to still produce 15-ounce FC package labels and FCMI labels; only eBay failed. It took them over 24 hours to even admit the error. Here's the announcement:
P-B did not take 5 years to add the Regional boxes.
