They have no more information then your bank or a million other places. And eBay likley has better secuirty than a lot of place that have your information.
To be a good seller:
- Have a plan for the whole transaction from good titles and accurate descriptions to how you are going to ship and what you will charge for shipping.
- Start with lower priced items to build a track record and feedback as a seller.
- Since I see you have zero feedback. I'd actually start by buying somethings on eBay to understand the process from the buyers point of view. While you are buying think about how you make decisions which buyers to buy from. Price? Shipping costs/time to ship? Clarity on condition? Return policies?
- Create your listings that copy the things that gave you the most confidence as a buyer into how you sell.
- Be extremely responsive to buyers that reach out to you pre-and post-sale.
- Communicate in a positive and constructive way.
- Pack things well and properly with good materials ( can recycle but all boxes and inner protective materials should be in great shape).
