I HAVE BEEN WITH EBAY SINCE THE SITE CAME OVER TO THE UK , NOW THE NEW RULES ARE NOT WORKABLE IN SELLING  ITEMS ,

Ebay now is at its worst state right now , i made out 2  sale items filling in the relevent boxes to sell ,

these are for building tools I NEVER EVER USE AN AUCTION PRICE FORMAT , ONLY BUY NOW PRICE 

WHICH ALLOWS A BIT OF MOVEMENT IN SELLING PRICE ADJUSTMENTS WHEN TALKING TO POTENTIAL BUYER.

well the two items were then changed by EBAY TO AUCTION PRICING  ?? why should ebay alter my prefered selling tactics , they then infer let our professional sellers take over , ERR I DONT THINK SO 

BUT I I HAD NOT LOOKED AT THESE TWO LISTINGS , ONE HAD ONLY 8HRS TO RUN IN A 7DAY AUCTION 

the starting price set by ebay 99p so had it run the bidder would have won a £300 flip saw for 99P,

it was aa porential buyer messaging me seeing my buy now price change to this hidious auction ,

I lost a sale for some large steps BECAUSE I COULD NOT CONTACT THE CUSTOMER WITH MY ADDRESS TO VIEW THESE STEPS  get this UNTIL THE CUSTOMER HAD PAID FOR THE STEPS , 

TODAY ANOTHER CUSTOMER COMING ALL THE WAY TO MY HOME  TO LOOK , BUT SADLY THE ITEM WAS NOT THE RIGHT ITEMS HE REQUIRED, i i had been allowed to talk to this customer he would not have travelled this long distance , BUT ALOS I COULD HVE GOT A SALE FROM ONE OF THE OTHER WATCHERS,  ,

i DONT ANT TO LEAVE BUT I WILL NOT BE SELLING ANY OTHER ITEM OF MINE THROUGH EBAY UNTIL THIS IS ALL RESOLVED ,

i am now closing the item that did not sell today ,  I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHERE THE SUPER COMPANY THAT WAS HAS FALLEN DOWN LIKE THIS , there selling fees are far too high  , this reflects the dip in business , for me .

Hey Op - sounds like quite the week.  

Looks like you had at least 3 potential sales transactions go awry?

Cannot speak to the listing that magically changed from FP to Auction - as suggested, please post (a different one, please do not cut and paste this one, really hard to read) on the UK boards and inquire about this glitch.

One the one that was a local pickup, it sometimes happens - not exactly what the Buyer thinks when they come to examine and finalize.  If it sold once, it will sell again.  Look at your description and pix and see if you can tweak that slightly based on why this was not a good fit for the Buyer who passed.

On your last one, not certain I understand about the "steps" (maybe a little more info) but not everything is really suitable to be sold online or at e-Bay for that matter.  Ask about other options on the UK board as well.

Sorry it was a tough set/run of auctions/listings.  Better sales to you across the way!
