scammers

I do not know about anyone else yet i personally am getting fed up with these scammers on here. when i first started selling on ebay i had some scammers come though ebay hack my phone and took every dime i had out of my cash app which was over 500.00 and got by with it and not ebay or cash app offered to pay it back and told me it was my fault, just tuesday had scammers by the id on ebay by the user name santa3322 tried to do it again and yet ebay is allowing it and wanted me to get them 500.00 worth of ebay gift cards when i refused they threatened to give me bad ratings to get my account shut down if i did not comply with their wishes. what do you all think?????????????????

These are scammers who target new sellers.    Never ever buy gift cards for a buyer.  Never communicate with buyers off eBay.   You do not have to do anything other than report this user to to eBay.  Their threats are completely bogus as they cannot get your account shut down.  Any negative feedback assuming they have already paid you can b removed as this is feedback extortion which is a policy violation.  Buyers cannot report you for something that is not included in a listing.  I would make sure you have actually been paid.

Just curious but how is eBay involved in allowing you to purchase Gift Cards for a buyer.  They would never allow that to happen.  Buyers can purchase their own gift cards directly.
