And 99c USD goes farther in Sri Lanka than it does in the USA (or here in Canada).
That is true but if they are selling the item for .99 cents with free shipping they still have to pay to ship the item.
.99 minus roughly 12.9 % for ebay and paypal fees less .30 cents paypal fee=
56 cents. The seller has to pay shipping using their 56 cents profit.
The sellers paypal fee may be more if the state the item is delivered to charges sales tax since PayPal charges their 2.9% on the total the buyer pays including sales tax.

If the buyer is not in Sri Lanka (which is most likely the case) then the PayPal Fee is 4.4% + 0.30
In MP, there is also an extra 1.65% for an international sale ... and an extra 3% for foreign currency. *
A Managed Payments seller based in Sri Lanka, listing on .com will incur that extra 3% on almost every sale ... because their bank account will be in Sri Lanka Rupee (LKR) and .com MP is US Dollars (USD)

There are fake numbers out there for eBay support/customer service. They answer immediately, instead of calling you back after you request a call. And they try to get you to set up a Cash App. They say it is to protect your account from customers who use the item they bought for 30 days then try to return it. Scary!
BE WARE!!!!

As comics mentioned, if the item was originally listed on .com the seller can open an unpaid item case after 48 hours regardless of where they are registered. If you list on .ca then yes, it is 96 hours.

Since you are in Sri Lanka, I am just curious about how you are expecting to be paid since Sri Lanka does not accept Paypal.

For the low-cost items you are drop shipping it is not likely to be an issue.
