sales

Does anyone else notice that sales seem to be very down.  Is there anything I can do to get more sales.

Re: sales

Oh, okay thanks for letting me know that.  I am a little green but I am learning.  This community is a big help to newbies like me.

Re: sales

That is the truth.  I always consider when I buy something and do a lot of comparing before I buy.

Re: sales

A quick look at your items, I noticed you have some clothes with the same sizes and styles.  You should sell those in lots.  I think it's better to sell 2 pcs of clothing or more rather than one at a time, because the shipping is high for one piece of clothing.   People are looking for bargains on eBay.

I grew up on spam.  Big staple in Hawaii.

Ha Ha me too @ckimodog

My Mom is half Hawaiian and was born and bred in Hawaii until she moved to the mainland in her 20's

She would cook pork chops, rice, poi or spam, rice, poi weekly and we loved it!! 😛

Miss those meals 🤗

Re: sales

Do not call eBay they won't help you. Just try some sales, change titles, new pics and yes, promoted listings, be sure to take most of the "advice" on where with a grain of salt.

@stuff4divas

Still eat it to this day.  Eggs, spam and rice for breakfast & my favorite, spam musubi!

This is good advice. Bundling clothing is a great way to move them

@inhawaii  Wow! I miss my Mom's poi so much!

I ordered it from Hawaii like my mom use to, but I did not know how to prepare it and it tasted awful!

Maybe it was just a Mother's touch 😘 that made my crave it as a child

Re: sales

I looked over your store.  A few suggestions.

If you are in this purely for money then you might want to look at selling different items. As it is your store is filled with low dollar long tail items (mine has a bunch too) and those don't really pay the bills.

I don't even try to list those clothing patterns 1 at a time, I just put them into huge lots and priced at about $1.25 times the number of patterns in the lot. A single pattern could sit there priced right and still not sell for 10 years until the unicorn comes along and the unicorns for sewing patterns are dying off faster than they are being replaced.

Right now your store has a 62 month sell through rate, that means at your current sales rate it would take an average of 5 years for each item to sell, and given that most of your items are already cheap to begin with I feel it is more an issue of not having desirable items in the first place.  If you are unloading what you already have and just want rid of it then start lotting the stuff up. Then look for different or better when you restock, as everything you have is in the most saturated categories on ebay.
