revising an item

Keep revising my items and its not changing when i post it, even though it changed in the review window. Whats going on?

If any of the items have bids, it used to be that revisions were not allowed.  Hopefully, a more seasoned Seller will respond, as I stopped selling here years ago.  I apologize in advance if I am wrong.

Often it takes over 24 hours for the items to show the updates.   In my case sometimes the descriptions update but not the price changes.  Other times it is the opposite where the price changes stick but the descriptions don't update even though I made the changes on the same click.

I just finished updating 2900 items with a variety of changes to each listing.  All sorts of problems with the pricing updates but it seems to have resolved itself after five weeks of weeding out the ebay mistakes.

I'm having the same problem.  The item doesn't have any bids - and I don't get an error message.  All I'm doing is changing the wording slightly in my description.  I can see the revisions I make in the "review window" - but the wording in the listing itself doesn't change (I even checked back hours later).   I've been on eBay for years and I've never seen this issue before - every other time I've made revisions, the changes are virtually instantaneous.

I have the same problem today.  I just changed some of the wording in my description and click on update listing.  When I go to view the listing on the ebay website it still shows the old description.  I then click on update listing again and it actually shows the correct edited description when I try to edit it again.  I click on Update again and it's still showing the old description.  I then used my android phone and used the ebay app and did a search for the item and it shows the correct updated description.  Go back to the desktop and ebay website and it still shows the unedited version.  I also cleared all the history and everything in my browsers and same thing happens with Chrome, Edge and AVG Browsers.  Something must be wrong with the server for the desktop website?  This has never happened to me before.  I also noticed that ebay does not show the red highlighted fire text at the top of the listing stating how many views in the last 24 hours on my listings like they did before.  They must be making some dumb changes once again 😞
