So I guess it's ok for eBay to do a 180 degree turn on their word. Spoke with them a few days ago regarding a return and they said I have all the right photos and accurate description. Fast forward, I get the decision today that they sided with the buyer. What gives, eBay? This is just wrong! I always do the right thing by my buyers, don't enable the scammers, eBay!

A big problem with ebay CS is that you have those that are not at all knowledgable. They just tell you anything to get you off the phone.
What was the reason for the return in your case and why do you feel it is not valid?

In a significantly not as described scenario, ebay will most always side with the buyer and in most cases require the return at the sellers expense. That is their way of undoing the deal where both parties are made whole (other than the return cost).
There are exceptions and much of that depends on your circumstances specifically. You did not provide enough details to advise you on that, but generally speaking on a SNAD case, ebay will side with the buyer

You offer 30 day returns with a 20% restocking fee, so if the buyer was returning for "doesn't fit" or "didn't like", that's what should happen: buyer pays return shipping and you refund 80% of the purchase price. Your policy states "no returns for fit", but that is not allowed on eBay.
If the buyer claimed "not as described", he gets a full refund and you pay the return shipping. Your pictures don't help; anybody can provide pictures of anything. Sorry if eBay CS misled you.
