removing false negitive feedback

Hello there, I sold an Item, customer states it was damaged in shipping , within 4 minutes I issued them a refund, however before that they posted the item arrived damaged, the Item was a torque wrench only, in there evidence pictures you can clearly see they put a socket on the wrench and broke the unit after it arrived. I have asked for an appeal and have been denied, and the case is now closed. any advice?

Well, that is a shame. I don't think there's anything you can do to remove the negative, but you'll only wear it for a year.

When it comes up again, always approve a 'Not as Described' Return request, and refund in full when your item comes back to you. That way, you won't get a demerit from eBay, who had to get involved. Upward and onward...

There's a way to turn this unfortunate negative to your advantage: Give a professional response designed to assure your future buyers that you stand behind your items (don't argue with the previous buyer - other buyers won't care) and that you are a responsive seller who stands behind what they sell.

I'm sorry this happened - for new/casual sellers one neg can make your percentage look bad, but I know if I see someone with a low FB number and a percentage like that, I always check the FB. A professional reply would reassure me.

Hell is empty. And all the devils are here.

Your only chance (slim as it is) to get that removed now would be for the customer to agree to revise it, and then (after you've gotten them to agree) you can send them a Feedback Revision Request.  In this case, since it sounds like the buyer was intentionally shady, they probably won't agree, so you're probably stuck with it.  Sorry.  I know those sting, but the good news is one bad review doesn't hurt you too much usually, especially if you respond to it professionally and continue adding positives as often as possible.
