I had a buyer win an auction, within 8 days filed a claim he had still not received items. I kept up with tracking and it kept repeating that the PO in Fla. was running behind, anyway he filed a claim and ebay with held the funds and then refunded him the money, well 2days later he received the items and left positive feedback. I am trying to get the refund back but, he says he has not received it.

Once a buyer has been refunded, eBay is not going to take the money back from the buyer and give it to you. They won't even send a message to the buyer about re-paying for an item that was refunded and subsequently delivered. If you did not refund on your own, and eBay did it, you likely also were awarded a defect on your account for "case without seller resolution".

It is up to you to ask the buyer to repay. If you have their email address you can send a PayPal invoice. The buyer is not required to pay, and likely is enjoying the free gift.

You can't get the refund back.

All you can do is ask the buyer if they'll repay you since they finally received it, but they are not required to.

I have had this same thing happen a number of times, and in all but one instance the buyer paid me bacvk when I asked. Of course, YMMV.

'PO in Florida' or 'freight forward' from Florida to another country?

Check eBay Buyer ID country in feedbacks.

Might not have got scanned in Florida address and off to another country...it happens and some buyers know this from other countries.

Best to block buyer ASAP.

Wow, thank you for replying, Iguess if that's the way ebay works I will go back to the flea market, not quite the same money but, way less headaches.. and no taxes😎
