refund fraud

I sold a model locomotive for $ !00.00 + $9.00 for shipping.  Well packed & insured.  Buyer claimed it was damaged.  I offered full refund + return postage label.   Buyer opened a return request & was immediately refunded by Paypal.  Buyer says Paypal told him he could keep the item, even after receiving full refund.   Now Ebay has also refunded him without him returning the item.  I can't claim insurance without the damaged item.  He has the locomotive plus 2 refunds. I have nothing.  My buyer standing was reduced from Top Rated to Above standard.  I get punished for getting screwed.  What a scam !!

Seems like your buyer skipped on over to PP and opened a SNAD claim.

Did you see this at PP?

Many times sellers are not aware that it's not just here at ebay that cases can be opened.

Also there will not be 2 credits...ebay and PP sometimes gives conflicting info but if you go to PP it should only say 1 refund.

You need to call PaPl. If you offered return for refund they can't do that. Did you not respond to the case in time or something?
