hi I need to refund a buyer for item for fishing rod that arrived damaged  he paid $32.50 for rod and $ 20.00 for return shipping

You'll need to edit the name and details out of your post or the mods will do it for you, not sure if they give you any penalty as well.

To refund, just go to your Paid and Shipped Orders, and choose "Send Refund" from the dropdown next to that order.  Do not choose "Cancel Order" since you've already shipped it, that can cause problems.

They cleaned it up but the buyers ID is still there...go figure.

Why pay $20 again for return shipping?  I would just abandon the item and move on.

Did the buyer open a Request for Return?  If so, you go to this claim and issue the refund from there.  It would be simple as there are instructions inside the claim.

If there was a Request for Return, did you send them a return shipping label?
