I got two eBay messages yesterday with the subject line "suspicious buyer for item." The message said:
"We had to cancel bids for the buyer, [buyer name removed], because they aren't registered on eBay." It then listed the name of the product that this buyer purchased from me last month. It went to to give directions for what to do:
We recommend you take the following actions if this buyer won the item:
- If you haven't received payment, don't complete the sale or send the item to the buyer.
- Don't communicate with the buyer directly.
- Verify any payments you've been notified of by logging into your payment account (or other online payment service).
- If the buyer requests a refund or additional payments, don't send any money without contacting eBay first.
- If you've already sent the item, try contacting the shipping carrier to find out if you can stop shipment.
My transaction is done and paid for, product delivered, and I received my payout. Do I need to worry about losing this money?

99% of the time on this type of notice nothing ever happens.
1% of the time you end up with a Fraudulent Use claim which you may be able to win (but not always).
At this point there is absolutely nothing you can do so don't spend to much time thinking about the what ifs.
Whatever reason eBay had for suspending the buyer it may have nothing at all to do with your transaction. it is just as likely to be a suspension due to the buyers activities (including selling) on a completely different but related id.
I've received a few of these notices over the years, never had subsequent issues on any of them, kept my money and enjoyed the fee refund from eBay.
Into your life it will creep

Worrying about what can potentially happen is pointless. There isn't anything you can do in advance to thwart any actions by this buyer. However as was stated, the chances are very narrow and most likely you will not hear back from anyone. Try to concentrate on selling and set this aside. Best of luck to you....
