When I try to list a new item or modify an existing listing, I get an error that says "You've reached your limit" but I am nowhere near my limits.
As of right now, I have "12 listed and sold / 350 limit on quantity of items" and "$3,588.00 listed and sold / $18,000.00 limit"
I first called Ebay on 9/29/21 with this problem. They tried to fix it by increasing my limits but that didn't do anything. I've had 3 more phone calls with them every week or so which has ended with them saying they are "opening a ticket" which the next call rep doesn't seem to know anything about.
Last contact I made with Ebay was on 10/22/21 through chat. I repeated my problem and their previous failed attempts to fix it. I was told they "forwarded your concern to our technical team and the should be with you withing 24 hours"
Of course, it's 5 days later now and no one has been in contact.
This is killing my business. I haven't been able to list anything new for a whole month now.
I also have some listings that I need to update pricing and quantities on but can't.
Any of you guys experience this before?

Just a standard CS excuse to get you off the phone/chat
Just like:
1. I have put a note on you're account
2. I have escalated this for you
Maybe try eBay for business on Facebook?

It looks like you took a break from selling, ebay may have you on a restricted limit for this reason

I haven't taken a break. I've listed and sold plenty of items continuously since April 2020

I didn't know about Ebay for Business on FB.

For anyone that might find this in a Google search, Ebay support was basically no help and never called me back after getting me off the phone several times with promise of technical support reaching out to me.
Magically, however, the problem seems to be fixed this morning.
I haven't had any interaction with support (no calls, messages, or emails) letting me know they did anything or an update so no clue if it was just a system error that resolved itself.
One thing that I did notice is that my monthly selling limits are much higher now; it went from a limit of 350 to 1,200 for quantity of items and a limit of $18,000 to $380,000 for dollar amount.
So in short, if you have the same problem and looking for a solution, I don't have one; maybe burn some incense and pray to the eBay gods.
