I received this mail from eBay "We wanted to let you know that your account has been permanently restricted from selling because of activity we believe was putting the eBay community at risk."

 

For more than 2 years I haven't had any negative feedback or review from buyers also, I maintain a 100% positive feedback rate by giving the best customer service to my buyers. in my account, all the performance metrics are very good and I was doing decent selling on eBay. But my account was restricted, and I cannot identify the reason for that. I asked eBay but they said that "they are not allowed to reveal the reasons". From my point of view, there is no any other accounts to me.

 

As a beginner,

I liked to ask the community PROs, why this account restricts according to your eBay selling experience. and I there any single chance I reinstated my account ?

We have seen a lot of these account restrictions over the last several months. No one here can tell you exactly what has transpired.

We can guess.

 

Many of the restricted accounts were dropshipping and perhaps receiving Item Not Received cases filed. Even if a seller resolves the case, the INR case still hits the "Service Metrics". Does not even matter if it was a false INR. If a case is filed, it counts against seller metrics.

 

The account was probably taken down by the bots.

Probably because you are in Sri Lanka and dropshipping from Aliexpress or similar.

 

All your listings claim to be shipped from Japan but it's more likely they are being shipped from China.

This has happened before, when sellers were listing anime-stye child porn.

I would suspect you are drop shipping, and your location is Sri Lanka. 

 

Many drop shippers from Sri Lanka have been complaining recently about account restrictions.

 

Drop shipping is risky business, and has a higher likelihood of creating a bad buyer experience.

No, once you are permanently restricted that's it.  Your sales record indicates to me that you were not drop shipping from Japan but from somewhere else and eBay figured it out as well.  Drop shipping is a bad business platform and almost always ends in a dismissal.

Sorry you got side-blinded. 

Took a look at the sold listings still available to see. Some of the photos seem to be taken from identical products on AliExpress. Did you acquire the photos from their website? Or were you using AliExpress as the source of your goods, waiting for a sale to be made, and then buying it from AliExpress and having them ship it to your customer? If so, that is not allowed by eBay policy.

 

Also, wanted to clarify that one’s feedback score does not have any bearing on a seller’s performance metrics. eBay does not use feedback to rate sellers’ standings.

 

It is also possible that your account could have been linked to a troubled account and that is why you were restricted.

 

Sorry to say that once an indefinite restriction is given, it is very rarely ever reinstated. Had you had any violations given to you prior to this one? A sudden ban like this is usually preceded by warnings and temporary restrictions.

Feedback is not the major source of input to seller evaluation.

 

Your metrics will affect you including product returns.

 

And complaints about authenticity will cost you your account.

 

If you were using another company to dropship, they could be shipping counterfeit product or product which does not match the listing.  Some of your positive and neutral FB raises doubt about authenticity.
