"Unanswered Message" button/status after responding to the message.

I have an "Unanswered Message" after responding to all of the messages in my inbox. I thought it was because the other user replied to thank me for my response, so I replied to their thank-you message.  I still have the "Unanswered" button over the listing and my selling page says 1 is unanswered.

Do I need to mark this as resolved to make it go away? Or does the user who asked the question need to do that? I can't find a way on my end.

I'm having the same issue.

There used to be an option to " Mark as Answered ",

but that seems to have disappeared.

Just another annoying ebay thing ( among the many ).

I have that too-because a buyer responded "Thanks for the quick reply". I'll be damned if I'm going to email them again just to make this disappear.

The OP said that didn’t work by responding. This happened a few years ago and replying with your welcome or mark as answered use to work. It seems it doesn’t at the moment.
