"Sales" on App became "Orders" Necessary Change?

Anyone know the purpose of changing the wording of "sales" to "orders?" What was the point of this change? Just to match the website? Just tinkering? Any thoughts?

A summer intern had to show they had done something with their time?

I do have an Order awaiting payment right now. I don't really consider it a Sale until it is paid.

But that's just me.

The apps are always broken.

Whoever wrote them had no clue how Ebay worked on a desktop and no clue how buyers and sellers performed transactions.

From time to time, a competent human decides to make the app more like the desktop. But not to worry there are many more incompetent humans to further screw up the apps.
