Hello eBay Community,
I am a new seller and I’m doing dropshipping from AliExpress to USA. I want to confirm what to put in the 'Item Location' field. Since I do not keep inventory myself and the items are shipped directly from China, is it okay to list the item location as China?
I want to make sure I follow eBay policies correctly. Please guide me on how to get it approved or what to write to avoid any issues.
Thank you!

Drop shipping from Aliexpress is not an acceptable wholesaler, you would need wholesaler contract. Not only that your seller account will suffer because of drop shipping. Many have tried and all have failed due to out of stock and bad buyer experience.
Sell items you have in your possession, you will be better off.

You are in Pakistan.
That alone means that you are subject to very intense scrutiny by eBay.
If you do not control your own inventory, you cannot guarantee that the items that you drop ship will arrive on time, or at all.
Do yourself a favor and close your store now, before eBay does it for you.

Just reading the above posts, shows why eBay sales are/have crashed. Far too much of this kind of merchandise. I realize the seller is being honest with his attempts, but if there is no way for him to get his attempts started, eBay should stop this before it gets this far. Getting started selling for sellers like this, is the cause of too much of low quality merchandise.

We do not need another drop shipper. Find something else to do..you will be removed at some point. This is what is ruining eBay.

It is truly a shame that many people in Pakistan and other countries have been told that they can make dollars by selling product they do not own to Americans.
Selling products you do not own carries high risk that you cannot meet Ebay's delivery requirements, carries high risks that the product will not arrive or arrive late. It carries high risks that you will be faced with an impossibility of providing adequate customer service when a transaction goes bad, and will wind up with product you own sitting in the US unless you pay to have it shipped back to you.
And of course, you will only have a brief tenure as an Ebay seller.
Find another way to make some money, this is a path to losing money.
P/S. Americans are aware of AliExpress and if they wanted to buy products from AliExpress they would. Any orders you get will have to overcome the feelings of a buyer that they paid too much and got too little.

Did you know Americans can shop directly from AliExpress themselves without paying extra money?
