Auction closed on my Motorcycle. Been a day and a half and haven't heard from the buyer. When I send the buyer messages I get a Mailer Daemon with my email provider. I am assuming that this is from Ebay sending the buyer an email that they have a message. Is the buyer still getting the message on Ebay? Is the buyer having the same problem trying to contact me. Can't find anything on this problem with others. You sould think that Ebay would have something about this in Faqs. Would also be nice if Ebay had an online chat with support like most big companies have now adays.
Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks

Are you sending them an ebay message or an email?

Usually a mailer daemon notice means you have a wrong email address.
That means the party you were sending it to you did not receive your message.
You could pull contact info if you care to, but you do know that Ebay Motors bids aren't binding, hopefully.

The mailer daemon notice isn't an Ebay concern.
You can report the buyer for incorrect contact on file, but again, you can't blame ebay for that.

Hi, @jeg.us.tinc1dgsf3.
You need to send them messages through eBay, and through eBay only. That's the safest and only allowed way to do it. eBay doesn't like it when you send messages outside of eBay - they're really serious about that stuff.
Here is a little bit about sending emails...
When you get a message from an eBay member, it will show up in your emails as a bunch of letter and numbers@ebay.com or something like that. If you send an email to that address, it will not go through. This is not like Craigslist.
Thanks.

Yes I sent the message through Ebay. I don't have the buyers personal email address. Sorry should of specified that. Like I said, I think the Mailer Daemon is when Ebay sends the notification to the buyer that he has a message from me. Hopefully he is getting the messages on Ebay. Or maybe he is just blownig me off on the sale. My first thing selling on Ebay and trouble right from the start. Not impressed with Ebay.

I wouldn't even try to contact them anymore and just file a claim for not paying. They would have paid by now or contacted you, yes?
It would clear the sale and get your Final Value fees back, I think, unless ebay motors has different rules.

They do.
