Did you mean:

"Is this item soft"?

When a buyer asks you this question, do you:

1) Say "Yes"

2) Say "No"

3) Give a longer, impartial answer

4) Ignore the question

"If the question is  also illiterate (poor spelling, worse grammar) I  will Block them. "

Must be nice to have so many sales that you block potential buyers for having a bad day on the keyboard.  I accept green American cash from all potential buyers.

5.  That is subjective and for you to decide as a buyer.    😉

Any response to a subjective question will open you up to INAD claims.

"Is this item soft"?

Having been raised by parents born in the 1920s with old-school standards and a high level of "proper" usage of the English language my siblings and I were corrected thousands of times when it came to grammar and the use of the best possible word in many social settings.  The result was not pretty to say the least.  While we three are incredible punsters and published authors in different fields we also suffer from internet migraines due to the decline in the overall usage of language and writing skills.

The advent of message boards since the early 1990s and now with on-line selling platforms this phenomenon has only exacerbated the effects of such devastation.  As a seller on ebay for ten years I have made many errors when listing late at night after working a ten hour shift in construction.  Sometimes I see the problem before posting the listing and sometimes I don't.  I fix them all if I happen to see my mistake later on.  Unless you live in a stuffy uptight Victorian age family of wealth and etiquette it won't matter in the end what people post on ebay.  We have to roll with the decline of civilization as evidenced by the news over the past several years.

"Is this item soft"?

Been selling on here 22 years and have learned a LOT from the "eBay experience".

If buyer can not take the time to read the title and description, and look at the photos, they almost always would spell some sort of "trouble".

And so in turn so years now, will not  waste my time on stupid, asinine questions and I just block them.

I personally do not need or want their money and will wait for a more "competent" person to come along.

I use to send the following snarky reply, but no longer waste my time with that either: "If you would take the time to READ the description and LOOK at the photos, you can answer All your own questions". Thank you.
