I inherited some signed sports memorabilia and I am trying to sell it through E-Bay. My item has a certification letter from ACE (Autograph Certification Experts), which I took a picture of and uploaded to my listing. There are many other listings on EBAY which use ACE. I do not understand why my particular item is counterfeit and they gave zero detail in the appeal letter. Is there a way to talk to a live person or another outlet where I can get resolution on this? You can even use the ACE website to look up my item as authentic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This article is from 2019 but ACE Authentic is on the no list. Not sure if ACE and ACE Authentic are the same company, but ACE is listed as permanently closed.

Thank you, that is very helpful information! I totally see how this is confusing.
So the company that certified my items is from here:
Autograph Certification Experts - Out of Village Park California
https://autographcertificationexperts.com/
Ace Authentic - which is what you are referring to is based in Duluth, GA

Here are a list of items certified by "my" ACE that are currently up on EBAY.

My item has an item number which you can reference through the ACE website, the same as these items. What gives?
