ebay is a business. complaining about the business/fees/traffic will get you no where. you either factor the cost of selling into your business or go sell somewhere else. it is like buying a shirt, you can buy one at walmart or buy one at saks. you get what you pay for. how hard you work at building YOUR business if up to you not ebay. ebay drives the biggest traffic. but please, stop using this forum to complain about your sales. look at what you are doing not what ebay is doing. ebay is not perfect as nothing in this world is perfect.

TWENTY FOUR YEARS TODAY and I have no complaints other that the fact that I have received no ebay swag for being a loyal customer for 2.4 decades, they used to do that kind of stuff way back when but I won't hold my breath, maybe the mail is just late?

Yes, I'm with ya OP all the whining & moaning can get tiresome but it will never cease. Many come to ebay unprepared with no selling or customer service skills at all and fumble the ball pretty quickly then blame ebay for their ongoing problems

As the OP said ebay isn't perfect but what is?

Agreed. Some of you act like you're being forced to be on this platform. If it's so terrible, you're free to leave. You can shut down your account at this very moment. Go sell on Amazon and see how wonderful their return policy is, see how often buyers steal from you and learn how convoluted and confusing their fee schedule is. Let us know how wonderful that utopia is when you get criminally defrauded and you realize you have ZERO options other than to grin and bear it. Go to Poshmark and sell to a significantly smaller audience and get inundated with insulting low-ball offers nonstop all day from wine moms and pay a 20% fee for the privilege. Hopefully, you can find a fairly decent bot to share your items 24/7 at a reasonable price. Go sell on Mercari and deal with the most clueless, belligerent, shady bottom feeders on planet earth and also pay a 20% fee for that privilege. Go right ahead. Send us a postcard and let us know how it's going over there. I'm sure once you take all of your non-desirable inventory and horrible photos to those platforms you'll be yacht shopping in no time.

For example:

When off-site searches pull up better, more accurate results of items for sale on ebay than ebay's own search function, that is something to complain about. They aren't fixing it. This has impacted sales for sellers. Which means it also impacts ebay's profits.

It also brings up issues going on. Not everyone is aware of certain things. There is information sharing and education going on as well.

@sakic92710 Not me. I had comcast and did not like what I got for the cost. Instead of paying for something I felt was not worth it I just cancelled my subscription instead. I am not paying for something just to have the right to complain about it.

You can always stop coming to these community boards. Or, simply just not read the threads of people complaining in a way you don't like. No one is forcing you to be here or read any posts you don't want to.

As it stands now, it just sounds like you are complaining about people not complaining the way you think they should.

You really don't understand anything if you think only complaining goes on here. Or the results that can occur here from the complaining. People share info, people learn about problems they didn't know about, people get advice from others, people are given info who to talk to about it at ebay etc etc.

Maybe just skip over these threads and save yourself some grief. No one forces you to read them. Stop your complaining.

With your experience you should be sharing your knowledge not attacking someone like you are here. Besides you don't have to read these boards you can go some where else. No one is forcing you to read these.
