processing payment, ship item, and 2nd chance offer all at the same time? Which one is it eBay

After spending weeks fixing my eBay store I have had dozens of sales show up as paid where I print a label and put in the mail like I always had before. I never made much of a fuss how long it take for the very little funds left after my $1.50 an hour averaging eBay account either pays or takes money from my account. I have so much to get rid of and trying so hard not to just have 2 dumpsters back up to my place and throw away so much money of things I've purchased and nevr used or left over from my manufacturing company new unused items. I have funds just going to my daughters account who are in college. However 4 days ago my first ever auction type sale ended and I received a customer cancellation notice. Instead of doing second chance offer Ebay asked if I wanted to relist the item. It started the clock from zero again. Aget over 365 views and 34 bids I felt like this was a bit of a dishonest look. I have always had 100% feedback and paid many times to make clients happy shopping on my page. My 2nd and 3 rd auction type sale ended the next day. It has been 4 days now and clients have not paid. Just now my 4th auction sale ended and for the first time ever get payment processing. It shows that a client has paid and funds will be available tomorrow. I read some write ups on here that I should have shipped right away as I alway do. The real disturbing part is I am also getting messages to offer second chance sale. After paying for a shipping label with package at the mailbox I am now confused with the whole eBay system. Why for the first time after thousands of transaction is payment processing showing up to confuse things and why is eBay saying to offer second chance after getting a message to ship item? Which one is it? I wouldn't be so concerned if eBay hadn't allowed sale 1 to be cancelled and relisting it making me look like I am playing games with people, sale 2 and 3 to not be paid by winners of 7 day auctions that had many bidders Now sale #4 is all over the place. So far the auction sales are a disaster on my eBay. I have no clue what to do with this labeled package when eBay is giving me 2 different sets of direction after 3 disastrous attempts to auction sell.  There si no way to reach customer service. They route me through useless FAQ then this place I try to avoid at all cost. Last time I asked a question in anger after ebay charged me $48 in fees for an item that sold for $24.  I felt brow beaten and shamed by some member on here for the way I asked the question.  By the time I had to write out a question on here,  there was counless hours of trying to reach customer service and countless unexplained overcharges. It is very agravating to deal with a system designed to keep you away from any resultion. I am old school and personally hate automated systems. They never cover the real issues. Google answers just about everything. If Google cannot answer it's time to have live agent help. Amazon has the world beaten just over customer service. google cannot answer me why my Ebay auction sales are such a disaster allowed by eBay and Google cannot answer why I'm getting 2 different set of direction for the fourth auction sale that ended today. I apoligize for saounding aggravated at this eBay system. I was doing this to give my daughters money in college but this is working for -$ outcome.

As far as I know payments are always processing for some amount of time, usually less than a day, before the money is available to be paid out to my bank account.

If the Seller Hub shows that payment was made and ready to ship I would ship.

You asked "why is eBay saying to offer second chance offer?"

Maybe that's for the order that was canceled by the buyer? The message may have been delayed.

I don't think they would recommend that for an order that was paid and shipped.

I just checked again. Ebay cancelled the 2 orders that were not paid by buyers on my behalf. I don't know how they can let buyers buy auctions and cancel or not pay without any problem. meanwhile I have to pay insertion fees again. one was promoted to see if did better then the others. that fee was collected up front from eBay. They basically steal money from me the way they do things. That last order that came up as sold and ship I labeled right away like I always do. I never realized that they don't fund until following day. That part doesn't bother me so I never reaklized it was an always thing. However it clearly says offer second chance right where I normally go give feedback, purchase labels and packing slip. In blue letter second chance offer is written which backs up the message I received. I don't know how eBay does auction sales but it seems to be a bit out of control.

Second Chance Offer is available even after a successful transaction because it can be used when the seller has a duplicate item.  For example,  a seller with multiple identical items might run an auction just to test the pricing; then send SCO's to underbidder(s).
