pickup at walgreens

wholesale order came wasnt home fedex left note to pick up at walgreens? anyone else? seems an odd pair

If your order came UPS/Fed-Ex, some (maybe many) Walgreens have pickup.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago, except it was UPS/CVS.

The package never made it to CVS.  After 1 week It was officially declared "lost" by UPS. A few days later thy found it. They asked me if i wanted it re-delivered.  I told them NO!  I'll just pick it up at the UPS facility.

Would you have preferred a porch pirate picked it up off your front porch?  Expect to see more and more parcel companies drop off at local retailers as porch piracy continues to increase.

no i prefer what happened. it just hasnt happened before. i agree its great works for me wish usps did this without me leaving a note on my door "dont leave packages ON STOOP"

I agree - it's a great idea - I don't even live in an 'iffy' neighbourhood (though I did for years, well, it was just a plain 'bad' neighbourhood) and I'd rather just pick up large packages elsewhere than have them sitting on my stoop when I'm not home.  I think this has been for a couple of years now?  I just know it was something instituted to make it a lot easier for parcel recipients than having people have to drive to a UPS depot (20 mile round trip for me).

That kind of defeats the point of mail ordering in the first place.

Funny how this generation thinks having orders delivered to your home is something new.  🙂

Our Walgreens here has a FedEx drop off / pick up station within the store.

Great idea and very convenient.
