phone numbers, email address, physical location , why me and no one else

On Sept. 5th and 6th I was contacted by ebay on the phone and by email

They advised me that my phone number and my physical address was posted on my ads

and it was a violation of Ebay Policy to have these listed in my ads due to the fact that I could be

selling off ebay.  I advised them that the phone number as in there for the customer to call and make sure the part they are buying will fit and be compatable with their slot machine.  Ebay advised that

it is still a violation of ebay policy and to remove them or face suspension.   After 6 or 7 hours of removing my phone number and address from all my ads....I decided to look as my (competitors)

ads.  There I found my competitors have their phone number, physical address  listed in their ads 4 and 5 times each.  one (1) even states if you do not see it on ebay, just give us a call.  I do not understand why I am singled out .  I have contacted Ebay reference competitors ads, they are all

still active listings on Ebay. thank you

You are trying to remove it in the WRONG place.  Buyers do NOT see the email address in your listing set up.  The email address you have in your listing set up is in the Payment area.  Your PP account is by your email address, so if you were able to remove it, you would not be able to accept PP on your listings.

This is all about contact information in the body of your listing.  In the Description area or another area you can fill in that the buyer actually sees when they view your listings.

Ebay's bot is also confusing Ebay links to be in breach of this rule.  Meaning if you have a link in your listings back to your Ebay store, the bots are picking up on that.  They aren't suppose to, but they are.  Ebay is in the process of correcting that, but as of right now it is happening.
