I'm not sure what you are experiencing, but the latest version of the photo editing tool I use daily is VERY fast and almost never disappoints me. Now I am using a new (in the last year) computer with more memory and computing capacity than I ever had before, which might be helpful. Like I say, we may be using differing versions of the tool also.
It's awful. I find it easier to edit the photos on a tablet. You can edit another photo while the wheel is spinning on the first. How this company can still keep this tool with all of the complaints is beyond me. You can also load all of the photos quicker with a tablet. I am about to go out and buy my next Apple tablet just to take photos.
