I sold 2 sets of underwaer 3-pack multicolor, The buyer emailed saying that she didnt like the color and she wanted to donated to goodwill, asked for a new pair in different color, I offered her a full refund she said no. I sent the new undies, emailed her and let her know her new underwaer was mailed. she replayed back the next day saying that she wanted her money back.
I refunded her money back,
should I block this buyer?
I feel that she wanted to get free stuff, I'm new on ebay so I dont want problems. can you guys tell how would you handle a sittuation like this one?
thank you,

Yes, I would block that buyer. She obviously took advantage of a new seller. I do not sell undies so I am not sure if they cannot be returned? But if undies can be returned (unopened and still factory sealed, of course), I would have had her return them and then refunded. In the future, please do not just refund money without a return.
Happy selling and remember it really is a small percentage of buyers who try to take advantage. Remember, you can always ask a question on the forums if you need to.

A customer who is offered a refund and says no, should act as a red flag warning to you. You should have asked her to return the goods to you, and you would give her a refund once you had received them.
In most cases you will not hear from the customer again, as they will not return the goods. Never refund a customer before you have proof that what they are saying is true. ie the pants were ripped, ask for a photo showing this etc.

I can remember being a new seller and wanting to bend over backwards to please every customer. Now, not every customer will take advantage of you, but if you happen to get the one who will, remember the words, Please return for a refund. Do not saying anything else in your emails, no matter what they say.
I understand we aren't talking about expensive items but there is no reason that you have to be out of pocket.
Good Luck!

Send her a return shipping label. She may not comply and still give you a negative. You can (likely) get the negative removed if you complain to eBay's (idea of ) customer service stressing you've sent a return label and a refund and the neg feed back is malicious. It might take more the one call to customer service.
Block the buyer.
Afterwards I might be tempted to leave a feed back like; Sorry you don't like underwear color Most wear clothing over it.

Return for refund is the answer if you offer returns. Never do a partial refund if requested.
Always tell buyers return as received. For something like underwear I would use no returns.
You can set up your auctions with returns or with no returns.
You can also include a restocking charge % up to 20%

As others have said, if buyer does not like something, unless you honestly think they have a valid case, simply ask them to return for a refund. You will go broke trying to please everyone here.

Bless you in your endeavors! I hope you have a lot of hair because you will be pulling it out soon! Ebay is a love/hate co dependent relationship.
These boards can save your sanity but those of us who have been here for a while are always careful to make an account just to post here or use another account besides your selling account. It saves you from revenge purchases if you incur the wrath of someone here. Most are good people but there are occasional people looking for an argument.
Just wanted to share that wisdom and wish you a Merry Christmas!!!
And for goodness sakes block that person!!!!

Yes, you should block that buyer. For the future, like another said, if a buyer contacts you and says they don't want the item, simply tell them to open a return case through the eBay system, and return the item for a refund.
Then, once you receive your items back, the system will walk you through the refund process, and you will receive your Final Value Fees (FVF's) back, which is what eBay charged you once your item sold.

I thought you couldn't sell underwear on Ebay.

Sorry to sound so blunt, but that buyer played you like a well tuned fiddle. I highly doubt she actually donated the first set to Goodwill, so she successfully managed to score 2 sets for the price of none.
Now hopefully she does not bother to leave feedback, even positive, stating how easy you were to work with, as that would be a schmuck target letting other opportunistic buyers know that you are an easy mark.

Not that way.
Now you are out 3 packs of undies, your money, and shipping.
You were played. Block this buyer now.

You have to learn to play by the hard rules here, or you are going to continue to lose money.
Nobody gets a refund without returning things like underwear still new UNOPENED in the original packaging. Too bad she doesn't like the color, she ordered it. If she wants to return she should on her own cost of postage.
From now on tell the buyer that they must return unopened in original packaging and only then will they receive a full refund. Then stop talking to them unless a case is opened.
If there's a case, come back here for advice, have the details ready to tell us.
