new ZIP code metrics

Let's say you have an item in 3 different warehouses, you ship from whichever is closer or could be a different one in case one runs out. What zip code do you need to add in your listing? Should you create 3 different ones? That is against eBay policy to duplicate?! Confused a little here

I am not sure if many or any would no the correct answer to this question?  You might get a lot of speculation answers.

Your best bet is to call eBay and explain your question and ask for a specialist in this area to help you.  The first line CSR person you speak to more than likely will not know the answer.

Actually it does make a difference.

Shipping charges are based on the ZIP code from where it is being shipped to the ZIP code where it is being delivered.

You probably shouldn't worry about it on your listing

BUT when you print the shipping label you can and should change the "shipped from" ZIP code to be sure you pay the right postage.

The post office has a new system where they confirm postage and back bill you (for more than you would have paid in the first place) if it is wrong.

1.) Wipe out the zip code from your listing.

2.) cick on Location then type in "Multiple Locations"

Done!  Problem solved.
