my item does not show in search, why?

Hi Guys

i have listed an item some time ago, just out of curiousity i did a search

and found out that my item does not come up in a search, why?

A couple things to try - 

1. Use incognito mode on your browser to do another search to verify if the item is still ghosted.

2. Check similar sold listings and verify that the item is listed in the correct category and sub category. 

3. Do a slight revision of the listing by moving the order of the order of the images or a small price adjustment. Then recheck. Often in my experience when an otherwise correct listing is ghosted I've found that (slight revision) solves the problem.

There are dozens of reasons why an item cannot be found with a particular search. There are a wide range of causes:

• search indexing delays
• user error
• not understanding how search works
• international issues
• quirks and known issues with search
• complete mysteries

But unless you tell us the item number you are searching for, and the search criteiria you are using to try to find it, we cannot possibly help you narrow it down.

We can only work with the information we are given, and you haven't us very much information to work with.

For instance, you also mention you listed this item "some time ago". Are you talking about minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months ago?

You have 12 listings showing. Is there supposed to be more than that ?

If you see it in your active listing page but you can not find it in search, chances are you do not have shipping locations set up correctly?

If you could tell us what the title is or an item number we can try different searches for you.
