Ok, been out of the saddle here for a few months due to many personal issues .
Just listed a few things again ( first since around August I think ) and I see my auctions showing pament options now as paypal ( which is ALL I would like to use ) but also 4 major credit cards and paypal credit.
What have I missed, is this a new rule forced upon us and if so, can I opt out somehow ?
I checked my seller preferences, it's still showing paypal preferred.
Thanks guys if you can help and happy holidays !

Buyers can pay with their credit cards without a PayPal account, it’s been like that for a long time. The only difference is now that sellers cannot block buyers without a PP account but I’ve never blocked them and have never had a problem because of that.

That's what every listing look like when a seller offers Paypal. You won't even know when a buyer uses a credit card or PayPal Credit; that's between the buyer and PayPal.

Buyers can pay directly with a credit card and don't need a PayPal account to do so, but PayPal is still the company processing those payments.
Until you're opted in to Managed Payments sometime in the next couple of years you won't see any difference with how your payments are handled.

Just to clarify, if you were opted into Managed Payments you wouldn't see Paypal Credit as a payment option. No Paypal payments have been integrated into MP yet.

ok, thanks all.
I haven't opted into managed payments and from what I've read about it here, just recently, it doesn't look like such a good idea ...will check into it more as time allows.
