Why do you need 6 accounts to buy from a seller? Seller can not limit sales to one per account.

Actually yes, you can impose a limit on the number of transactions from one buyer within a certain timeframe. It's one of your Buyer Requirements options.
Maybe the seller could set up a BuyItNow listing for the OP, listing all the items together as one lot of six.

If a buyer limits how many can be sold to one person, you are imo cirumventing his wishes by opening up 6 accounts.
Sellers limit merchandise for a reason, not so buyers can do end runs around it.

ebay please tell me
eBay policy does not allow users to create new accounts in order to get around restrictions or limitations on their accounts.

Are there circumstances when creating another account isn't allowed?Registering new accounts to avoid buying and selling restrictions or limits, or other policy consequences, is not allowed on eBay.

If a seller told you he will only sell one of his items per account, he is ..... sketchy.... to say the least.
While members can have several accounts (I have seven myself, four for selling, one dormant) there is little reason to use more than one for buying.
EBay may be helping you out of a potential mess.
Is the seller still on eBay? Or is he now Not A Registered User (NARU)?
Another thought.
If a seller Blocks a buyer, for any reason, and the buyer opens another account to buy from him, the seller may ask eBay to step in.

Here's the descrioption from the listing the OP posted.
"Here we have a new uncirculated $2 bill selling on a buy-it-now auction at below face value with fee shipping.
Why would i do this? i desperately need your purchase totals and your feedback of course.
Get them while they last. You are limited to one purchase per account from me every 10 days. "
So,
Are they selling feedback?
?

Looks like seller is selling feedback so I guess that is why they are limiting the sale to different IDs?
I thought selling just to get feedback was against some Ebay policy?

I want to know why the seller is selling 200 $2 billes for 99 cents free shipping. Says he needs the feedback - he already has close to 6300.
He'd do better to give a bill away with each item sold!

He needs the sales and the feedback to offset a bad defect rate?
And is afraid of the upcoming evaluation?

They are selling $2 bills for $1 with free shipping and they limit it to one purchase every 10 days. They are buying good feedback.

I see and have read about this before. Posters asking why items are selling so cheaply with answers being that it could be a seller is trying to ge his account out of trouble or to bolster feedback.
This seller was just honest about it.

Wow
Fb shows that they also sold these for 1.75 ... and over 100 sold.
And who doesn't believe the fb system is obsolete?
