If I opt for boost (same as promoted option or NOT ) is it an extra fee to the FVF should the item sell?

Not as simple as it used to be (started 1998)

I have 1,000's of glass and matt finish porcelain tiles and would like to sell them 200 to 500 piece lots.

I looked at 12% for the boost if it sells, and assume that it is added to the regular FVF of the 13% or so...

Pricing is flexible....as these and most of the "stuff" (coins not included) is consigned.

Shipping fragile tiles sounds like big trouble to me, have you shipped them before?

Boost is promoted listings, they are just advertising it and showing how easy it is to promote your listing.

You will have to pay extra for the boost.  You are charged in addition to the FVF.

You will set the rate when you boost.

Happy birthday Howard! 🙂 That is a big milestone!

To answer your question - the promoted listing fee is in addition to the FVF. So if you sell a $100 item at a 2% promoted rate, you'll be billed an additional $2.00 in addition to the normal fees.

I would NOT recommend promoting at ebay's "recommended" rates unless your niche is highly competitive, the minimum amount (2%) should be fine and is what I use.

YES, have shipped 1000's, they are .75"x.75" (20mmx20mm) sheets, squares, single ones, just about indestructible. users also cut them smaller to use in mosaics. Thanks for asking
