I am so frustrated with Item Specifics and my listings. I fixed them all months ago, I fixed them again a couple of months ago, I fixed them all again a month ago, I have been fixing them again when they relist (with good until cancelled)
They all need stupid things that are not part of the item. For cotton boxer briefs for men. "character, theme" For women's cotton briefs. " , compression" Hey guess what, they have no choice for NO COMPRESSION. So I can't fill it in. I can't say none, I can't add my own.
So I have 8 items I need to update, all of them need ONE recommended item specific. I don't which one. The only ones that are not filled out are the ones where I have no answer. There is no DOES NOT APPLY.
And now, to make matters worse, my button to "don't show me this again" has disappeared so I can't even clear the ones that IS does not apply.
I've tried three different ones.
Here are examples.

And I have probably listed this on the wrong board but this is about selling. I can't sell if all I do is mess with item specifics all day. every day, for months and months and months

Yes there are now forced descriptions
some are recommended and some enforced.
If they are enforce descriptions you cannot ignore them
If you do not want your potential buyers knowing this information then just delete the listing?

If they are recommended and I only need ONE why would I delete the listing?
Are they enforcing recommended? That makes no sense. I have all required IS, I just have one stupid IS that does not apply to my items and I can't put anything. so it still shows up as recommended.
The IS is Compression, the answer is NONE, how can I fill it out, there is no way to add anything and the choices are wrong. I don't want to mislead buyers with false IS

"recommended item specific" = Not required (doesn't it?)
Every single one of my listings has at least one "recommended" IS, they are unnecessary for the particular items I am listing so I just ignore them and continue on my merry way selling and packing orders.
The only ones I think about at all are the ones that are "required".
Into your life it will creep

I understand. yes, I can ignore them. It's one more piece of useless information.
But why do most have "don't remind me of these recommendations again" and these eight do not have it. (both new month old listings and year old, with sales, listings)
I'm just pointing out the bad info and things that ebay adds to seller hub. Yes I can ignore them, but what does that mean.. we learn to ignore ebay and pretty soon there are important things we ignore?
@
Maybe someone from ebay can explain?
