listing a item of ebay

During the listing process. Two of three options may appear for the item I wish to list.

One of the options may be: "Related listing from other sellers"  What does that mean?

Are the other sellers notified when I make a listing using the above selected item?

No the other seller is not notified, but Ebay won't let  you copy their listing word for word anyway.  Much of the listing will be blank so you have to fill in your own information.
