Having a hell of a time listing many items over recent times & not getting very far. Ebay seems highly inflexible & odd layout. Latest problem is I can't find the refund button anywhere to save my life.
I want to give my buyer a partial refund of £20. How on earth do I do this?
Multiple google & ebay help searches have revealed very little on the topic, and what few help articles do exist seem to be out of date as the buttons are no longer where they say they are.
I'm hoping this forum is a little different and actually comes up with a quick answer.
Help please!

Paypal, if that is how you are accepting payments, has that option.
Find the sale on your paypal account. Click on refund, and then you can modify how much of a refund you will give. Hope this helps.

Edit: just read online that ebay do not offer this ability, so you have to do it via paypal & therefore pay over-the-odds final valuation fee to ebay even though it didn't effectively sell for that price.
I should be surprised at ebay's lack of consideration of this basic functionality, but I'm not.

Matt, eBay's software has unfortunately misdirected you to the US community discussion boards. In order to receive the most relevant advice for a UK member, you'll want to post this on your "home" board. While there are many similarities between the two platforms, there are also nuances based on your country's laws or even residual EU regulations.
Here's a link to the ebay.co.uk discussion boards. You may want to bookmark it, because there's a chance you'd never find it again! LOL!
