I have been a seller on ebay for approximately 20 years on and off, recently my wife and I went to sell again and discovered this Crazy new format, everything is just off the hook so to speak, shipping, no more paypal, and most importantly the new selling format, I am not able to reach any customers, ebay puts my items in categories, I dont choose, with NO recourse on how to rectify the issue, they also automatically relist your item ? I did not choose to relist my item. Shipping is a crap shoot. Ebay says my item will cost between $26.00 up $141.00 to ship a certain way USPS.
I am very disappointed, and have had zero luck with sales. By the way, I have always sold right around 90% of the items I list..

It isn't a format change. It's food prices going way way up, it's gas over $6 a gallon, it's everything is more expensive and the sun is shining and no one wants to spend it stuck indoor shopping online.
Understand?

You've touched on a number of common complaints regarding eBay's evolution over the past years, and I don't necessarily disagree with you. In fact, your list of issues is shared, either individually or severally, by a number of people who post on this board.
Contrary to the comment in the previous post, there indeed have been a number of format changes that have had mixed reviews by sellers.
The only thing I would suggest is that these changes have been announced by eBay, in most cases in advance, and explained in Seller Updates or Announcements here in the Community, as well as updates to the eBay help pages. I can only recommend that you visit regularly and keep an eye out for the Seller Updates--issued at least twice a year, autumn and spring--and the Announcements board.
If and when these changes conflict with your business model, you must be willing to make a decision as to whether eBay continues to be the right platform for you.
Good luck to you!

I am no longer getting views when I share/post listings on Facebook. I would normally get around 25 or so from Facebook, 10 or 25 from Twitter, and maybe 10 from Pininterest.
Were all those bot counts? Now I have 0 views on most items.

Ebay is always changing things, and there have been a bunch of changes recently. It probably feels pretty overwhelming if you haven't sold here in a while. You might want to spend some time browsing the Seller Center to get reoriented: https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter
It's a little hard to tell from your post what your question are, but I'll take a stab.
You can still make sales here. The basics haven't changed. Take good listing photos, write detailed item descriptions, and give your buyers excellent service. The platform works a little differently, but you can deal with it. Give yourself time and keep learning. Good luck!

I APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE THANK YOU, NORMALLY, I WOULD AGREE, BUT IN THE PAST, I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM SELLING SCRAP GOLD, OR RARE ART OR ANTIQUES? I USUALLY START MY AUCTIONS AT ABOUT 25% OF ITEMS VALUE. RAIN OR SHINE SUMMER OR WINTER I HAVE ALWAYS HAD 80% OF MY ITEMS SOLD. FORGIVE ME I HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM EBAY FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR.
ALL I WAS TRYING TO CONVEY IS EBAY IS SLIPPING, NOT THE SAME, CASE IN POINT, I JUST LISTED 10 ITEMS, 7 OF THEM SOLD FOR OFFERS FROM BUYERS FOR A TOTAL OF $ 1075.OO ONLY TO FIND OUT 6 OF THE 7 WERE SCAMMERS WHO HAVE NOT PAID.
I HAVE NEVER IN 20 YEARS OF EBAY HAD ANY TYPE OF SCAM. EBAY IS SLIPPING. JUST MY HUMBLE POINT OF VIEW. YES, I GUESS I DO UNDERSTAND.
