Sales fell off the cliff Wednesday and I'm rather concerned that it will be a long weekend of poor sales.

well I am sure many will have 4 day weekends so they may have planned events through the weekend and probable just as many will have more time to do whatever including shopping on the internet.

My sales have been super slow the last 2 weeks and actually pick up yesterday.

2 Sales this week on 3 venues so I think many are enjoying the holiday and nicer weather. No ambition to source or thrift tho - so going thru things in the house to see whether they go to a garage sale pile or to put up here or elsewhere.

I have a new buyer (new to me, not new to eBay). He is having himself a very good time shopping. Now that he has pretty much wiped me out of a particular can, he is shopping on eBay for more cans and having them sent to me to make more ornaments for him. 14 cans arrived on Wednesday and I am expecting 26 more next week.

I think when I have finished making his order, I will put the listing up at $1,000.00 with BO. That will look impressive

Hope you are right about that!

For myself, I spent time yesterday searching ebay though not buying because I couldn't find anything I wanted (clothing). But I will keep trying because I've bought some cute things here recently and hope to see more in my size and style. I never go to stores anymore.

Congrats!!! I love it when you get a customer that is so impressed with your items or stores they go on a shopping spree!! Far and few between but those few really perk you up!!

Thank you! I a very happy he went on a shopping spree in my store. I am (almost) happier knowing 4 other eBay sellers received sales because I ran out of a particular can.

This week is traditionally the most popular one for vacations due to the Fourth being in it, as many would get an extra vacation day because of that.

I started on ebay during a vacation but whether or not many will do so remains to be seen. That was a different time, many years ago.

Thank you. Moving all those ornaments into variation listings was a real project, but I was able to downgrade my store which means more money in my pocket
