how do i keep a good status if i can t upload a tracking number

I have recently began selling single sports cards in order to help collectors complete their sets or for those looking for a specific single base card. most sell for .99 I offer free shipping but I ship them in a sleeve and top loader. packed will but still stays under the 1 oz so I send in a plain white envelope. most people don't wanna pay $.99 for a card then $3 for shipping. 

but if I ship in a plain white envelope It doesn't have a tracking number to go with it unless I add I believe its $2 to $3 dollars to shipping. 

So my question is I want to remain a top seller but without me being able to upload a tracking number it hurts my % of tracking which lowers my Seller status. Is there anyway to get around that without charging more shipping. Or am I just out of luck on this?

@padilfre   Tracking is one way for eBay to monitor what Sellers do ... without it you are at risk.  There is no real way around it.  Sellers are at risk who don't use it ... granted your items are not high end scam targets.

You may have to settle for selling at $ 4.00 and list it with Free shipping.  In your description you might want to explain that your price includes tracking.

Almost forgot ... USPS prices go up this week ...

Yeah I have them listed as free shipping. I have just always had a great percentage for tracking cause I only sold cards worth more then $.99 so I would add shipping of $3.75 to cover bubble mailer, and shipping cost with tracking. I do send in mailer and with tracking if they buy 5 or more cards. But most just want the one card or 2 cards they are looking for.

After the fee's, free shipping, envelopes and top loaders, how do you make any money off of them?

how about it! Doesn't Pay Pal have a minimum fee of .30

They have a program where you pay 5 cents plus 5% versus 30 cents plus 2.9%. It is designed for sellers with lower priced items.

I was going to suggest that you need to sell a variety of items where you do upload a tracking number to offset the items that don't have a tracking number, and I do see that you sell other items.  Can't suggest anything else.
