how do I make a correction to an invoice that the shipping was wrong?

I changed the shipping to a lesser amount, because purchased two items that could be shipped

together for a lesser amount.  
Than when I went to send him the invoice, I accidently sent the wrong invoice to him.  I wasnt sure how to correct

that error, so I just wrote him an email & told him what I did, & followed it up with the correct invoice.

Sounds like you already fixed the problem by messaging him and writing a second invoice. If its a tax issue for you just write void on the original invoice and file it accordingly for if you need the documentation in the future. But I would refrain using a customers or sellers full name in the forum. I'm not 100% sure but I believe its against ebay policy to do so. That's why most pictures on here have the buyers or sellers i.d., name, address or any personal information blurred or crossed out. Just a FYI so you don't get hit with any bad messages from ebay.

The last invoice would have automatically overwritten the previous invoice. There is nothing that you have to do at this point.
