I sold am iphone 13 pro max 512gb Gold here on ebay, it was delivered to the customer today.
I just received an email that the customer wants to return as follows;

Reason
Doesn't match description or photos
Comments
Minor scratches and dents on the screen surface unlike the description.
I bought the phone brand new 3 months ago, it has screen protector and poach from day one and I am 100% sure its in mint condition.
Below are the pictures the buyer posted. also the link to the phone listing.

I will accept the return but am sure the pictures the buyer posted is not what I listed.

Accept the return, make sure a prepaid return label is available for the buyer.
See what you get back from the buyer. Nothing else to do at this point.

Any buyer can steal any item from any seller at any time by filing a fraudulent dispute.
IMHO being ready for that surprise will not change the outcome.

There is nothing to be ready for. If you get a rock in a box there is still nothing you can do about it. iPhones are one of the most heavily scammed items on Ebay and all you can do at this point is get down on your knees and pray to Baby Jesus that you get your iPhone back.
