hello can i still ship an item if the shipping is overdue?

it says ship by may 24 so its been month. i havent been on ebay and a buyer bought a pair of shoes from me on may 19. can i still ship it?

Yes if the buys still wants them! I would contact the buyer first and see if they still want them since it's been a month!

Seems very odd that customer would not have complained about not receiving shoes.   Before you ship item...you should double-check to make sure customer didn't "reverse credit card payment".

How did you come to overlook the sale?

Before sending those expensive sneakers anywhere, reach out to your buyer with abject apologies. Also check to see if he opened an Item Not Received case and has been refunded by eBay.

You have some homework to do on this transaction BEFORE you ship it.

First WHY have you waited for OVER a month and still didn't ship the product?  Were you paid for it?  If you were are you sure you still have the money or did Ebay force a refund because you had not shipped the item.

You really need to look at this closely BEFORE shipping it as something is VERY wrong here.

I'm kinda of shocked it's neutral and not negative. 

They would have been justified with negative too.

     WOW!!. At this point I am surprised you have not received multiple notifications from eBay about the sale. You have/had a 3 day handling time which is obviously come and gone and eBay has probably dinged your performance rating. These shoes would have also had to go through the authentication center. The estimated delivery on the original sale was July 5-10th and while that is a few days off there is no way they are going to clear the authentication center and arrive to the buyer by then. 

     Feedback indicates buyer is trying to get a status so I would suggest opening up a dialogue with the buyer to see if they are still interested. If so it may be best to cancel the original sale, relist the item and have the buyer purchase again. There are simply, as mam98031 pointed out, too many things that are already wrong or could go wrong with this transaction.

What messages have you gotten in your Ebay messages? Was the buyer automatically refunded by Ebay? Was there a claim or dispute? Does it still show "Awaiting Shipment" on your seller dashboard?

if they're under the AG the seller probably CAN'T message the buyer (and vice versa).

Would you please come back and tell us more.  There is more to this story.  We would be better able to help you if we knew the whole story and there has to be more.  Why a month later are you now ready to ship?

Why have you not shipped yet?  If your funds were frozen, you could have still made the shipping label through Ebay Shipping and the exact amount of the funds would have been released.  OR you could have paid for the postage yourself or borrow the money.  Why would you let a buyer wait a month to ship.  You got a neutral but in reality deserved a negative for this transaction. No excuses unless you were deathly ill and could not communicate to a relative or friend to ship your item(s).   My kid has my Ebay passwords just in case something happens to me and he needs to ship an item or at least communicate with a buyer.

Do check to make sure that the payment has not been reversed before you shipped.  Would you want to wait a month for a seller to ship YOUR item?   Try to not do this again. You already got a defect for late shipment. A few more of those and it's going to cost you higher final value fees and eventually your Ebay account.

30 days later, if the buyer filed and INR, Ebay would have pulled the money from the seller and refund the buyer by now.  It is unlikely the seller / OP actually has any money for this sale.
