So, when does everyone think ebay will actually pay us as fast as paypal did. Been around a year at least and every time I call and ask they say great things are happening. But not in the area of getting money from our sales to us any faster.

I do not think eBay will ever pay you as fast as PayPal did.

PayPal used to "led" you the buyer;s payment while it was still processing. But eBay's Managed Payments did not choose to do that.

eBay has announced plans to offer "balance accounts" like PayPal does, perhaps eBay will revisit this as part of that rollout. But I would not hold my breath.

I have only question.  How long did it take PayPal to put money into your checking account after you made a request for a transfer?   Remember that the payouts from eBay are going directly to your checking account and not to a middle man.

I'm much happier with PayPal out of the picture.

Paypal also offers an instant transfer for a fee.

Daily payout,  ocassional sales and it is most certainly not my bank.. Like I said If I get paid on the 15th for an item ebay does not pay me till the 17th.. And I mean they do not make their payout to my bank.    My bank is sometimes same day, Always next at worst..  They are the fastest part of ebay's new improved process.

Next day is all I want. Not happening for me.. The fee is 1.50 on 100.00.

Yes, we live in a world where services incur fees.

Last time I withdrew $100 cash from an ATM other than my own bank's there was a $3 fee.

less than 24 hours.. every single time. Free overnight transfer. Ebay is terrible on my end for moving my money.

How long did it take for that 100 to come out of the atm?????? I will bet my home it was not 3 days like ebay. Fee's are a part of life.  Waitong days should not be..

I have to say the last month or 2, payments have been clearing pretty quick, usually 24-36hrs. I mean I only pull money out of PP once a week anyway. The only scare I've had was the last 3 day weekend(not last weekend) I sold a bunch Sat-Sunday and most the funds were sent to my bank Monday morning, I didn't have enough in reserves to cover all my shipping labels. I had wait for a couple more sales late Monday night so I could finish up the orders. Almost had to buy labels thru paypal and got me thinking about switching to weekly payouts. If I read it right you can request payments sent to your bank without a fee as long as the funds are available, fee is for like being there the next day.

yes, I accept paypal. With them I just do the overnight free transfer. 

Sounds like for some ebay works and not as well for others.

Thanks all for the replys.  Seems some sellers get paid fast, meaning the system works properly for them.  For me , it has not.  Im set up properly and ebay is just slow.  I have been on the phone with their managers.  Once ebay actually makes a payout it is usually in my bank acct same day.  Always by the next.. My bank accepts these things very fast. 

Yes, 1.50 fee for instant transfer is fine.  Seems to me though that after a year or so they should have it right. In fact, they should have had it right before they made the change.   Latr
