I sold an item on ebay which has been delivered and recieved by the buyer, he has even left me feedback.
The problem is it is still showing awaiting delivery, and i don't get my money until it shows delivered.
I have tried to contact ebay but without success. Does anyone have any good advice ?

I assume you input the tracking number, right? If not, go do that.
If you did already, what does the tracking on the carrier’s website show? I’ve found that if it shows delivered but eBay doesn’t, signing up for tracking notifications sometimes makes it update.

I can't see how much you sell on a regular basis but if you do not sell a lot, or if you are a returning seller, or if your information is not up to date with ebay then your payments are on hold for about 30 days. This is in case there is a return on the item. If you are a frequent seller then the holds eventually fall off and the payments flow through smoothly. There are plenty of links on ebay that discuss payment holds. Perhaps you fit into this category?
I have had items that did not show a final delivery and the buyer left feedback. Sometimes the post office forgets to scan the delivery. In my cases, this issue worked itself out on it's own and was not the issue at all regarding getting paid.
Are you a frequent seller?

Recent sales?
Funds should release after a bit even without delivery being shown.
New and infrequent sellers in USA funds are held.
dunno how it works for a UK seller with 112 items sold since 2005

As a UK private seller they still have to wait no matter how much they sell frequent or otherwise.
And with ebays "simple delivery" bought through ebay the details are already there.

How do you know it was delivered? Did you review the tracking to see that it showed delivered? If you were able to view the tracking to prove delivery, Ebay would be able to do that IF you gave Ebay the tracking number. Did you forget to upload the tracking number to the transaction when you shipped?
If you acquire your shipping label anywhere outside of Ebay, you need to make sure the tracking number gets uploaded to the transaction. There is no way for Ebay to know that information unless you give it to them.
I'm not sure why you are having trouble contacting Ebay as it is actually pretty easy. But before you try that again, make sure you have tracking uploaded to the transaction, because if you did, Ebay would be able to see that it was delivered, but since you are saying Ebay doesn't see that, it tells me you forgot to upload tracking. Until you solve that problem, there isn't anything Ebay can do to help you.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

Thanks for all that. The tracking was all ok, the buyer has recieved the item, and has left feedback. It looks like the post office did not scan it , thats why it is still saying awaiting delivery. Anyway thanks again for all the info.

OK @barry5911 that is all good, however your tracking is NOT OK because it isn't currently showing delivered. And if Ebay doesn't know the item is delivered, you have a problem. What does the tracking on Ebay show? Does it show delivered? This is important. Sometimes the tracking in Ebay will be a bit different from that the carrier shows, so it is worth checking out.
You need to contact the carrier and get that delivery scanned recorded. Don't dismiss this and an unimportant issue, it is very important.

The buyer is going to the post office tomorrow to check if they scanned it.
