When buyers leave negative feedback without contacting you to say there is a problem, what do you do?Should you  refund their money (+ shipping)? It doesn't seem worth it because you are still left with the unfortunate negative (which may have been resolved if you'd been contacted). I usually refund their money even if the problem was unsubstabtiated, but I think, in the future, I will not do so. Feedback revisions requests in these cases never result in the removal of the FB. (in my experience), so I guess I should just keep my money since the fallout from the negative directly affects my profitability and the buyer will not change the FB anyway.

I'd not refund someone who simply leaves bad feedback. Your rating is fine. Breathe...

Buyers do not have to contact the seller at all.

It would be nice but there is no requirement for them to contact the seller before leaving any FB.

 

I would have responded "Im sorry you are unhappy with this purchase. MBG allows for refund upon return. Please return for refund"

Then leave it at that. 

I would never refund because of FB.

I think to myself ... why did that buyer leave me negative feedback without contacting me first.

It's happened a few times in my 20+ year ebay career.

Sometimes I can get i removed.

Sometimes I can't.

 

As far as what to do.

Depends on the situation.

Depends on the complaint.

Depends on the dollar amount.

Depends on my mood.

NO!  Not at this point.

 

If you want to contact your buyer and politely and professionally ask them what the issue is and how can you help.  Do not mention anything about changing the feedback at this point.  You first want to see if they are open to communicate about the issue.  If they respond, come on back and let us know what they are saying and we can help you take it from there.

 

Now one thing I noticed that the complaints on all three of your negatives is basically the same complaint.  I would strongly suggest taking that to heart, learn from it and work on improving how you creating your listings.
