But it's a good idea for new sellers to do some buying first because it enhances their knowledge of how eBay works and also can give them some numbers to replace that (0) on their feedback profile.

No ... but having feedback from buying will surely reduce the number of scammers waiting to pounce on newbie sellers.

No, but ebay should require account holders to have feedback before being allowed to flood this message board with basic questions.  What I mean is that new members should be required to buy a few things and get positive feedback first.

No, you do not.

But it would help you have a better working frame of how e-Bay works, buyer expectations, processes, etc.  Being a Buyer first, helps you be a better Seller later.

Take your time before rushing into Selling.  You've waited this long - be patient and deliberate about this Selling process, so you get it right.

When buyers click on your item for sale it does not take them here to see your Community Board profile.   The number of posts you make or reply to in here does not help you sell. It does not make you an above average seller. The number of helpful posts or replies you make or receive will not help you to become a better seller. Pass it on.
