i know all about reporting items that are false item location my questionis why just have an item report shouldnt it be seller report because i know that if 1 item is falsely located you go to their other items they are falseas well so why an item when if you get the seller you save time waiting for each individual item to be reported and bann the seller and all his items will be removed therefore you protect you customers (buyers) from feeling EBAY misled them most find the fault with EBAY because they bought thru EBAY as a middle man to ensure they are protected. is it really that hard to find these false sellers.if you wait for item reports i say yes meanwhile that seller is selling 100's of items falsely . justhave report seller and you can see all items at 1 time ... just my opinion .. i know you may warn a seller if he does this but warning is foolish if he listed 100's of items because he already knows he is falsely giving location.. i seen sellers with 100's of feedback commplaints saying item was false location yet they still selling and EBAY your buyers ie... your money is leaving because every time they buy they pause and remember that time before and that seller is still a proud high rated seller even though he misleads his customers. wake up EBAY save your pay check ie...the buyers WITHOUT BUYERS FELLING SAFE YOU HAVE NO JOB SECURITY.

Are you referring to Chinese sellers who drop ship from places like Florida, New Jersey and California?
Many companies have affiliates in the USA who have their items stored here for faster shipping so they can better accomodate a faster delivery.
There is nothing against the rules about doing this. If you're talking about something else, please clarify.

Evening,
False representation of where goods are has been going on for several years at least.
I have noticed that the more this happens the less options folks have to report or correct this.
My thoughts then are it is actually what ebay wants.
Trust me...if Ebay wants us to do something they are very good at letting us know.
Edit: The expression "Actions speak louder than words" comes to mind.

eBay condones it because it is done by sellers they consider their golden children and they WANT you to mistakenly order from them.

Hi Threebulls,
Oh they see people and numbers...The people they see are the BUYERS...they love buyers...the great...the good...the problem child and the scammer.
I am not aware of too many stock held businesses that think differently.

they are being shipped from china that is falsely stating item location so seller should be removed from ebay hence all his items he falsely stated were in shall we say california .. doesnt take 10 or even 5 days to deliver from san fran to los ang... it does if coming from china . just because he waits to get it from china before sending to you is still false. you can coat feces with 100 coats of chocolate that does not make it a candy bar it just a pile of feces hiding under delicious chocolate to decieve the less knowledgable.

I had one Chinese seller that took 5 days from LA to SF. And, it turns out, the item WAS in LA county.

I have an item that says it's located in California, about 2 hours away from me, it was shipped out the 9, now it's the 14 and says it's getting in supposedly the 19th.
It flew out of New Jersey, arrived in California, their facility probably, and the item instead of going south towards me it is now in Nevada.
Am I wrong here? But doesn't that seem kind of like **bleep**.... yet I can't even contact ebay...
That is a totally false advertisement, that item should of been in my hand 3 days tops..... and that if the shipper was using a bicycle and taking breaks.... But instead it's now farther away, when it was just a couple hours away.
