Why are you telling us?
Tell your buyer you are ending the auction earlier than stated in the auction.
But just because you end it early doesn't mean your buyer will pay right away, eBay gives buyer 4 days to pay. So you may as well take the item with you and mail it from wherever you are when the buyer pays.

@moon001414 : You've got 9 watchers already on an auction that doesn't end until Wednesday. I strongly believe you'll be leaving money on the table if you end early to sell to the one current bidder. In addition, he has 4 days to pay, so you may not get paid before you have to go out of town anyway. He may not have a payment budgeted for you before the end of next week, given that the auction he's bidding in doesn't end for several more days.
Can you possibly bring the item pre-packed with you? You just need to set your Ship From ZIP to be wherever you are when you mail the package.
Alternatively, you might be able to push your Handling time out far enough for the day that you get back in town. (I'm not sure if you can change Handling time after bids have been received... possibly not.)

Auctions with bids cannot be revised at all, not even handling time.

Pack your items and carry them with you. Choose a shipping location close to where you'll be.
After the auction ends, the nearest post office can scan the OCR code and print out your shipping label.
Send it!

I was told there are post offices everywhere. If possible, pre-package the item and ship it from where you have been told you will be.
