economy is doing quite well

thats why prices go up,as oil goes up,railroad, trucking, chemical companies are all raising prices,so are other minerals like alumina, gas.

folks have less money to play as house mortgage, health premium, gas, electric ,food, insurance all go up.

Economy is terrible around these parts.  Stores are still closing, roads are crumbling and not getting repaired, etc.

you know all these pension funds since 2008 are not earning 12-13% on their investment,

we need to save more and live below our means,it is the **bleep** credit card,it makes it so easy to spend, not save.

But I've said it before - we choose to sell here - we don't have to. Sure it gets frustrating sometimes - but if I'm that depressed and angry about selling on Ebay - it's not worth it. You're stressing yourself out and raising your blood pressure with all the venting and only hurting yourself.

As an aside and I know the sellers of said products don't want to hear it - but garage and rummage sale season started up - instead of buying items because they are cute - I look for specific items that I see selling on Ebay.

The community block sale yesterday had a lot of 50+ homeowners - who were cleaning out their houses getting ready for retirement. All the little knickknacks and decorations sat at every house - people just walked on by. What was selling - kids clothes - but those sellers had them listed for 25 and 50 cents - so kids clothing sellers here won't be getting those sales.

Today was a church rummage sale - again the decorations and knick knacks sat as did the jewelry - but clothes were selling - 25 cents apiece, shoes/boots 50 cents, hardcover books 3/50 cents and kids toys. I scored a couple of books that I can resell for $30-$40 here - but you have to know what to buy to resell. I can no longer sell what I originally started selling - there is no profit in it any longer.

My prices are usually below other sellers n I’m experiencing the same thing. Plus I’ve had buyers request to cancel transactions because ebay found them a lower price 3 days after their purchase. Fortunately I ship same day but still, the time for eBay to price shop for buyers is when they shop n buy, not days later.
