Ebay is the real rip off here. There communication is horrible by design. They leave it up to there so called Ebay Community to take care of the lack of service and integrity. They are sucking more and more of the buyers profit every year. I am sick of it!

Do you read all of the communications they send because I get quite a few.

I can't comment on their communication since I never need to communicate with them. My eBay operation runs itself like it has for 20 years ... I list items, people buy them, and I ship them.
re. Fees: I measure my business by the percentage of the selling price that I put in my pocket after all fees, expenses, and costs (including the cost of acquiring the inventory). I do not obsess over how much eBay is taking, as long as my profitability stays the same.
In 2016 I cleared 69.3% of my selling price.
In 2017 I cleared 68.8% of my selling price.
In 2018 I cleared 67.3% of my selling price.
In 2019 I cleared 67.5% of my selling price.
In 2020 I cleared 68.0% of my selling price.
So while eBay's fee structure certainly has changed over the years, thus far I've managed to keep pace by making sdmall, sensible prudent adjustments to my business model.
