ebay steals

If you ship out to people and they are happy, eBay will steal your money if they wont it! They lost money on banks so they will come for yours like they stole mine.

Thanks for stopping by to let us know! I had no idea! Great information!

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

Re: ebay steals

From their other post, sounds like it has to do with an old account.

Maybe the other account was suspended and now this one is to?

Have a great day.

Re: ebay steals

As others mentioned you didn't provide a lot of detail on what you believe the problem is. You did mention this is related to several items over a period of weeks can you be a bit more specific about what the individual issues are and any messages you may have received from eBay regarding your account?

There is more to this story and this forum has a large number of sellers with a LOT of experience that can try to help you but it is hard to assume or guess what the root problem may be.

Re: ebay steals

All I can see is that this account is 3 months old (Created March 6 2023).

Seller does not accept returns.

Four negs in that time, so leads me to believe that buyers took advantage of the Ebay MBG and seller was hard to work with and Ebay sided with the buyer each time.

That means Ebay "stole" the seller's money because he sold defective (or shipped incorrect) items and didn't take ownership. OP probably dragged his heels and didn't want to deal with a return.

But I'm speculating

@awesomes9231

Your rating is 94% which is not good as a seller.  This is e commerce selling, not high school. Just curious if eBay has asked you for any receipts for those high dollar multiple items you were selling? Not saying this is your situation, lots of fraud and stolen merchandise on this platform.  I would get those ready to remit to them because more than likely that will happen next.   Like I stated earlier, there are more thieves on eBay then eBay.

Good luck to you.

Re: ebay steals

No, the money they have on hold are for products shipped and received and accepted. Ebay is just holding my money because they want too. They make you jump through hoops sending in info, which I did, Affirm accounts, which I did, and then make it impossible to reach someone who knows anything. Usually, a CS person in India who can't answer any questions. They rig the game against the small seller, and open to the professional scammers who know how to play their games.

I just don't understand how so many people are comfortable committing libel against a company that has a team of well paid lawyers. You may want to be more careful about the words you choose.

Re: ebay steals

According to your other thread here (link), you have an old account that owed money and was suspended, then as a byproduct this linked account was also suspended.

The only way to find out why your accounts were restricted and whether or not it's permanent is to review the communications sent by eBay and to work with customer service. Ask for a supervisor if the frontline rep is not helping.

If you're permanently suspended, then you'll have to wait for your funds to be released to your state's unclaimed property division. For CA it's a 3 year waiting period. Then you'll be able to get your funds from your state.

Re: ebay steals

Money on hold is not the same as stolen money.

Re: ebay steals

That is a very serious statement. Where is your proof. Provide an example of ebay theft. Be careful what you claim. You could get into serious legal trouble .

No, they have a reason.  You may not agree with the reason, but that doesn't matter.  Ebay always has a reason.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
